Rio is a very unique gelding that stands 14.3 and just as wide as he is tall. He is sired by the famous Gallo Del Cielo aka (Rooster) with earning of $1,116 in the NRHA and a 2X AQHA qualifier in the Jr. Reining. Rio is very well trained in the arena and does all the reining maneuvers with ease! He has a nice sliding stop, spin and effortless lead change. Rio rides great outside and is sure footed when he is on the trails. He crosses water, logs, bridges, ditches etc with no problem staying quiet in every situation he’s put in. Not only is Rio good in the arena and on the trails but he has also been used extensively on the ranch around cattle. He’s been roped on in the pasture to doctor and catch loose cattle as well as used to sort and push cattle. Rio is good in a stall or turned out with other horses. He is gentle to be around and good for the farrier and vet. Rio has been ridden in town and down the road making him safe around traffic and other large equipment. Stands great to be saddled/bridled, loads and hauls easy, loves to be bathed and brushed on. Rio stays very trained and is easy to get along with riding or just being handled around the barn. Sound and requires no maintenance.
