AQHA Registered CRC Genuine son aka “Dumas” is a 4 year old gelding standing 14.2 hands. This gelding is made to last and he’s everyone’s favorite color! He is Gentle and kind eyed. Dumas has seen and done quite a bit in his short life. He has been used in the feedlots and salebarns. Dumas has been out in big country to doctor and gather cattle. He keeps his mind about him in chaotic situations on the ranch. He is super pleasurable to sort on in the pens and will hold a rope tight. Our oldest daughter has started him in break away and we believe he will excel in the roping pen. Good break away prospects are hard to find. He would probably really do well on the heel side as well! We live out on a big place in East Texas and he’s been asked to go through all the swampy bottoms and thick underbrush to bring our bucking bulls in or the calves up to rope . Dumas is sure footed and level headed everytime. He would make someone an excellent trail partner. He is very broke with a nice handle and really wants to stop. Dumas is wonderful to be around on the ground as well. He is easy to catch every time even on a hundred acres. Dumas is quiet as a mouse to groom , bathe , blanket and saddle. He stands like a gentleman for the farrier. Dumas has his whole life ahead of him and will be successful in whatever discipline you choose to stick him in.
