Iron Feathers AKA Boone is a 5 yr old 14.3 hand gray AQHA gelding that is super well broke and is a blast to have around! Boone neck reins, side passes and is super soft in the face. Boone is soft and easy to ride and yields to leg pressure and stays quiet no matter the situation. We have used Boone to push cattle and check fences here on the farm and also taken him down the main highway into town to run errands. Boone is a seasoned trail horse and goes over logs, through water and wherever you point him with no issues. Boone is gentle and easy to ride making him one of the barn favorites.
I think Boone would be well suited for almost any level of rider. We have also used him to rope the dummy and he takes anything you throw at him. We have also exposed him to tarps and bouncy balls and all kinds of obstacles and he takes it like a walk in the park. Boone does well inside or turned out in a mixed herd. He stands to be tacked and mounted and also for the farrier. He also loads and unloads. He is safe and sound and ready to move into his forever home.
