John Boy is a very strikingly handsome mule he stands a well made and thick 15 hands and just as gorgeous and dark as you can want. John Boy is a 5 year old mule that is sharp and gets you noticed. John Boy is great in the cross ties for grooming, handling hooves, clipping, saddling and easy to bridle up. John Boy stands to be mounted and rides off like a sports car. He neck reins nicely has a beautiful stop and really uses his hocks correctly and will even side pass and leg yield. John Boy is not spooky and is simple to get along with. This mule has an extensive amount of trail miles! He is the definition of a trail boss- he goes out alone or in a string of avid trail goers. He is good around other horses and mules and will go over, through or around anything you point him at. John Boy will negotiate rough terrain and navigate up and down steep grades staying steady and sure footed as you can hope for in a good mule. If you want a loving and sweet in your pocket mule look no further this boy is just a ham. He loves to be loved on and immediately comes to you when he sees you! John Boy loads into any style trailer and hauls like a dream. He off loads in new places quietly and doesn’t require prep!
