Well, Hellcat is just that! An adorable thick made best friend of a horse. Don't let his name fool you he is more of a "soft kitty- warm kitty" than a Hellcat every day of the week! He has a sweet personality, a head full of sense and a ton of athletic ability! Hellcat can be peddled slowly around the arena, eased across the field, tracked through the river, or beat a cow down the fence.
Hellcat has been dearly loved by a youth girl who has shown him in every ranch event possible all the way to the AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse Championships in Amarillo, TX- where he hung in the top placings in most every class. Hellcat earned 7th overall highpoint in the NERSHA and 11th overall highpoint in the VRH. (2024)
Hellcat is quick and cowy in the boxing and fence work. He has shown in herd roping, ranch cutting, cutting, and traditional Cowhorse. Hellcat is beautiful in a ranch trail class and has smooth transitions in the ranch riding. He can run a stunning big fast circle in the reining and showcase his gorgeous spins with just the tap of your foot.
Hellcat isn't just great in the arena - he loves to explore outside, too! He is happy to ride out alone or in a group. Hellcat has been ventured around on by a fearless youth- so he stays calm and carefree in most every trail situation. His little red ears are always perked forward looking for his next adventure! He has drug logs, crossed downed trees, opened and closed gates, played with tarps, navigated rivers, carried flags, and mastered a few extreme obstacle courses.
Hellcat is very laid back, calm and quiet, but is all there when you need speed and power. He is truly a joy to have and be around. His youth rider has adored him to no end, but she wants to start a two year old.
