Its geldings like Bert Little Dueker, that make everyone want a gelding. He’s a jack of all trades, and safer than State Farm doing it all. From feedyards, to trails, to lessons, to cross rails, to city traffic! Bert has been extensively used in a cattle pre conditioning yard in south west Missouri. His duties there included prowling pens, sorting, penning back, and doctoring sick calves. He was also used in the pastures and in the wheat fields. He’s been around all types of machinery, such as bulk feeders, tractors, and skid steers. Recently Bert has been a trail horse, playday horse, and lesson horse. He is super gentle and absolutely trust worthy with the young riders. He allows the lesson kids to learn and be comfortable but if they do make a mistake he is forgiving and remains broke. He has been used to teach beginners to ride, to teach kids how to lope in the bigger out door arena, and even aided in teaching kids how to track cattle. At the play days he’s broke enough to do multiple events and be competitive and safe for his riders. Bert has also been trail ridden in multiple states and in multiple geographies. He’s seen rocky terrain in Southern Illinois and in Arkansas. Ridden open prairies in Oklahoma and Kansas and has seen tons of country road miles in flat corn field country. Bert is 15-15.1h, 6 yrs old, and AQHA registered. He is blemish free, vice free, and 100 percent sound. Buy this lovely, rock star gelding with confidence. HE IS A GOOD ONE!
