Clifford is a true professional with years of experience working on a large cow-calf operation in the heart of Montana. He’s done it all—whether it's roping, sorting cattle, or working the ranch from sunrise to sunset. Not only does he know how to handle a tough cow, but he also reads a cow like a book, making him the perfect mount for roping, ranch work, or just having fun on the trails. Clifford takes the word "seasoned" to an entirely different level, if you watched his video, you saw me running steers down with no bridle. I’ve used him in the pen countless times without a bridle, and he handles everything with the same precision and control you would expect from a horse that’s fully rigged. This gelding is hands down my FAVORITE horse in the bar whether I'm going to go brand calves or heading steers, I always choose to catch him. Whether I’m tracking a steer down the pen, preparing for a loop, or guiding him to set up for a catch, Clifford is right there with me, anticipating every move. For a big horse, he is broke like a little horse and he has so much feel on cattle. He is the FUNNEST horse to ride and makes every single day enjoyable. Clifford would really fit a lesson program as well, any and all levels can ride and enjoy this gelding. He is soft and broke enough to feel a 4 year old and slow and gentle enough to please an older rider.
