Standing 17 hands, cloaked in black, and supported by a strong uphill frame….to be in his presence is almost breathtaking! Although I am repeatedly captivated by Prince’s appearance, he is more than just a pretty face. Prince is well trained, versatile, & a true pleasure to have in the barn.
At 7 yrs young, Prince has his entire life ahead of him, yet has the calm, quiet, confident, & comfortable nature of those far older than him. He takes to the trail like a seasoned veteran. Crosses water, downfall, & easily navigates various terrain. Solid & trustworthy, he stays relaxed making for enjoyable rides out alone or in a group.
Prince’s movement is not only beautiful, but magical to ride. He has an airy trot, a big canter, & smooth transitions. He canters both directions on the correct lead, has great speed control, & has been started over cross rails with plenty of scope. The guy is willing! He will respectfully do anything you ask of him. Prince is also very forgiving. He is tolerant of inexperienced cues & he’s very adaptable to a variety of riding styles.
Prince is also trained to drive. He is a gentleman behind the lines & traffic safe. Has even been driven to church by the kids.
Prince is very well mannered. He stands tied, cross tied, for the farrier, & for mounting. He isn’t pushy on the ground, is easily lead, & perfect to load & haul. Prince is perfectly content in a stall or can live outside. He turns out in a mixed heard, zero issues.
Prince sells with registration application & all necessary paperwork to register with The Friesian Heritage & Sporthorse Registry, he is current on all cares & comes with all documentation required for transport.
