Dusty besticht durch drei gleichermaßen sehr gute GGA und einer hohen Rittigkeit! Charakterlich ist Dusty sehr ausgeglichen, menschenbezogen und immer brav. Er will geritten werden und ist daher ein ideales Pferd für Reiter ab A-Niveau, die im Dressursport noch gemeinsam mit ihrem Pferd weiterkommen möchten. Wenig gefördert, dabei immer brav und sehr lernwillig. Schmiede- und verladefromm, geht gerne ausreiten und macht einen guten Sprung. Auch im Parcours ist dieser Wallach bis L gefördert und will immer auf die andere Seite! Dusty geht sehr schöne Traversalen und einfache Wechsel. Fliegende Wechsel sind schon relativ sicher, Galoppirouetten und Piaffe/Passage-Arbeit bereits spielerisch begonnen. Hier zeigt sich Dusty sehr talentiert, so dass er sofort in L und M-Dressuren einsatzbereit ist und dem Schritt in die schwere Klasse nächstes Jahr bei entsprechender Förderung nichts im Weg steht.
