Guys, let me introduce you to my absolute best friend, Sterling!! Sterling is a gorgeous 15.1hh 4-year-old Steel Grey KMSH gelding. Sterling has been one of my personal horses. I have done almost everything I can think of with him. He’s been on numerous camping trips and trail-riding in numerous states, from Kentucky to Louisiana. A friend of mine took him and trail rode him at a camp in Louisiana for about a month back in February. He did perfectly for her. He’s extremely quiet and just a blast to be around!

Sterling is one of the friendliest horses ever, period. You can holler for him, and I don’t care where he is, he will come running. Super easy to catch. Handles more like a dog than a 1000-pound horse. In your pocket but respects your space. Easy to clip, bathe, and groom. Perfect for the farrier. Doesn’t move to be saddled and bridled. Stands dead still to be mounted every time. He will not walk off until you ask him to, and he always walks off slowly and easily, which is pretty handy. He neck reins, rides bridless, yields to leg pressure, has a great whoa, and a great reverse. He has a very smooth gait and a rocking chair canter.

Sterling is a very confident trail horse. You can seriously point him out and go wherever. He will cross all types of water, fallen trees, slippery rocks, and navigate rough terrain in general. Ties out with no issues. Isn’t Barn or Buddy sour. He will ride out alone, just the same as he will in a group. And it doesn’t matter where you put him in a group, he will fall right behind or lead the pack. He is great with wildlife and livestock. We have checked cows off him and jumped countless deer and turkeys. He never has done more than bat an eye. He is also perfect in traffic and around farm machinery!
