She crosses logs, slides down banks, goes through water with ease, and crosses bridges. For the more timid riders, she will follow along with the group and not take a misstep. We have had kids trail riding her and several first time riders that she gave confidence to on the trails. She is traffic safe and has been ridden on the roads. She also does well night trail riding. Headlights and flashlights don’t scare her. Luna won’t be the fanciest broke ranch mule, but she is an honest and safe trail riding mule. We trust her with the kids and any inexperienced guest that wants to ride with us. She rides the same in all situations whether on the trail, down the road, or around camp.
