Further information

A mule is an offspring of a female horse and a male donkey (not to be confused with a hinny, which is a cross between a female donkey and a male horse). Mules are unable to reproduce in the majority of cases. Due to their patience, endurance and perseverance, they are frequently used as pack horses. ... More about the horse breed Mule

Splish n splash (Gus). Gus is a 7year old John mule registered in the Saddle Mule Association. He has been through all my trainings and has become a really great mule. Gus is kid friendly. Loves attention. Easy to catch. We use Gus on any kind of ranch or farm work. Ponying colts, he neck reins, side passes, works off of rein pressure or leg pressure. We have hog hunted, coon hunted off him, can shoot the gun from his back Pop the bull whip He is a great one to go out and trail ride or just ride down the highway is traffic safe He has a really nice running walk and a really smooth rocking chair lope.. whether you want to go to the show ring or just a really nice trail riding mule Gus is your mule.
