We are so excited to introduce to the public, Mulan! Mulan is truly a one in a million mule! From her height and build to her incredible personality and love for her people, this mule is as unique as they come! Mulan gets along well with all other livestock, she has even lived with ponies,donkeys, other mules, minis, goats,sheep etc. She's seen emus, pigs, you name it, She is a sweetheart and will take care of just about anyone in the field! Mulan has been pasture kept and kept in a stall and does well both ways, she is an easy keeper and holds her weight perfectly on just a grass hay. This stunning gal is extremely versatile in English and western and can (and will) excel in whatever discipline you choose! 
Mulan is well versed in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and is great on steep slopes and rough terrain, she knows where her feet are and will make a path through anything, Mulan has rock solid feet and has been barefoot her whole life. 
Mulan has also made trips to town with us! Right through the heart of Fort Collins, with semis, bikes, crowds, chaos etc! You could not find something that bothers this mule while you’re out and about! She will cross anything you put in front of her and loves water! Mulan trail rides in a group, will lead, be in the middle or follow! It does not matter to her. 
Mulan has western pleasure training as well!, she has a very slow collected trot, knows how to hold herself, big lope and stops off of your voice and seat. We are working on flying lead changes and Spins as well. 
We have also done some English and hunter jumper work with her which she has taken a huge liking to! She has been through cross country courses and courses in the arena and does not refuse jumps! She knows her feet and spacing well and is excellent at the cavaletti too! We have dragged logs and tarps off of her, carried the flag and desensitized her to scary objects and things. 
Mulan has great ground manners and has had substantial ground work, she lunges both ways, will side pass away and towards you on the ground, spin, move on the haunches and we are even working on some liberty! She is very respectful of you and your space but not shy or touchy. Mulan is easy to catch, first one to meet you at the gate, picks her feet well and stands for the vet and farrier, is easy to saddle and will drop her head for the bridle! 
This mule is extremely sweet and loving and is well versed in all aspects of being a saddle mule! She has even led around kiddos for birthday parties and been the center of attention in most situations.
