He has it all going for him, from that beautiful red roan color to that pretty mane and tail, that stout muscular build, and don’t forget about that sweet little lope! Vegas is a 14 year old red roan quarter horse gelding that is standing around 13.1hh. All summer long, Vegas has been my 6-year-old son’s horse, and he has trail-ridden him, taken him camping, and ridden him on night rides and on wagon trains. Vegas has been the perfect horse for him, and he has been his best friend! Vegas has done it all on the ranch; he has pasture roped and doctored sick ones, herded cattle, and has been riding down the trails! Vegas has been ridden in multiple states, from New Mexico to Kentucky. He will cross creeks, ditches, and logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He has a nice walk, smooth jog, and a good lope; he also reins around and backs! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife, such as deer or turkey, or other animals like cows or dogs, and will go anywhere he is asked to. He has ridden many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure-footed. No gambling with this Vegas!
