Lorretta-Lynn stands 13.1 hands high, is 7 years old, and has raised 4 BIG beautiful babies for us.
Lorretta-Lynn came to us as a 4 year old from a great amish family with a good start under saddle and a quiet mind. We used Lorretta-Lynn on our families pumpkin patch pony wheel for a few years, where she handled all sorts of city kids shenanigans!
She spent time being an English pony for a youth in my lesson barn; where she did basic flatwork and low cross rails.
Lorretta-Lynn has raised a 4 foals for us. Each baby was BIG, gorgeous colored and stamped with her huge mane and tail. Her first foal was a black and white Gypsy vanner cross. Her next baby was a buckskin ROAN stud colt, followed by two years of strikingly elegant solid black fillies. She is bred back the same way as the last 3 babies - in foal to our cowhorse stud- The Big Bad Boss.
Lately, Lorretta-Lynn has been ridden in lessons by youth kiddos doing basic patterns, rides in the medow, and over ground poles.
We have really enjoyed Lorretta-Lynn and her babies, but we need to buy ground for cattle and cut back on our horse herd.
Lorretta-Lynn is not currently shod but was with the amish. She has great bone and stays sound barefoot year round. She is a doll to look at and fun to have around. Please call Kelsey at 308.390.4873 for more information on the beautiful Lorretta-Lynn.
