Meet Gallivant!
He is a gorgeous 10-year-old Tennessee Walker standing15.2 hands. He’s a perfect gentleman on the ground, easy to catch and respectful with a great face up. He can ride out on his own or in a group and can ride in front, back, or anywhere in the line. Gallivant would be great for a confident beginner or intermediate rider. He picks up on cues well and will do whatever the riders ask of him. He is very responsive to his rider and can walk slow and then step up into a fast walk, trot, canter, and gallop. He also has a pleasant running walk. He’s had extensive trail riding experience, riding in rough country in norther Wyoming. He’s been over 11,000 feet packing and riding. He handles steep trails in rocky, rugged country with ease, as well as thick timber and downed trees and is always sure footed and steady. He’s a gentleman to pack as well and minds his manners in a string. He crosses water great and handles a highline and
hobbles with no problem. He’s great with farriers, easy to shoe, and has solid feet. He neck reins and is very responsive to leg cues. He’s soft in the mouth, has a great stop, side passes, spins and much more. He loves a good bath, isn’t bothered by clippers, and enjoys getting dolled up. Gallivant has recently graduated from an extensive training program with a Master Certified Trainer under Ken McNabb. Below is a list of several of the skills that the trainer worked with him on.
 Side passing at a walk, trot, & lope
 Speed control and collection at all speeds
 Lopes circles on a loose rein
 Roll backs
 Spins
 Lead departures on the correct lead
 Hip control
 Head elevation
 Trail riding
 Herd boundness
 Obstacles, tarps, whips, ropes
