This horse makes a STATEMENT! His unusually gorgeous coloration is black roan with a silver mane and tail. “Hawk” has an incredible mind, enabling him to learn quickly while staying calm as he masters new tasks and navigates obstacles on the trails. He has earned a place as one of my all-time favorites. Hawk is always eager to learn and a joy to teach new skills. I can’t say enough about the pleasure this horse gives me to take along on trail rides and to just pleasure ride on the farm. He navigates rocks, logs, rivers, ledges, steep climbs and descents, waterfalls, caves, narrow crevices, and dense vines without getting anxious or nervous. Loud sounds, trucks, equipment, and dogs running between his legs never scare him. Hawk loads, hauls, and backs calmly from various styles of trailers. He ties to the trailer and stands quietly without pawing or annoying a nearby horse. New surroundings do not frighten him. He is always willing to do precisely as the rider wishes, including standing patiently as the rider mounts or dismounts.
Hawk is only 4 years old but is an old soul in a young body. All ages of riders with varying levels of riding experience, and even children, would absolutely love Hawk as their forever horse and loyal companion. Hawk has all the attributes one could want in the perfect horse. He is gentle and kind, respectful, willing and eager to please, smooth at all gaits, always calm, and great with all riders, even those with the least experience.
