Perfect Christmas Pony: Gentle Welsh Mare!

Meet Willow, a charming and gentle Welsh Section B mare, standing at 12.3 hands and 10 years old. Registered with the WPCS, Willow spent the last four years with a child rider who sadly outgrew her. She has participated in pony club activities, jumping, and hunting, and I have some videos showcasing her time with them.

With us, Willow has been a fantastic companion for my nieces, both on and off lead rein in the school. They are beginners and have just started trotting. We've also taken her show jumping a few times; she's comfortable with fillers and is currently jumping nicely at 50-70cm with a 13-year-old rider.

Willow has excellent stable manners and is incredibly sweet on the ground. She even reaches for her bit with her lips when being tacked up, making her a joy to handle. She's easy to catch and stands beautifully for clipping. Although she has mostly been hacked out in company and can be a bit watchful, we've been taking her out alone regularly, and she's improving each time.

Willow is up to date with vaccinations, worming, and hoof care. She is currently barefoot and can live in a mixed herd.

We are selling her to reduce our numbers due to rising costs from house renovations and stable conversions. We had hoped to keep Willow for my nieces to show next season, but we simply haven’t had the time. She is a lovely children's pony and a wonderful all-rounder.
